I am now residing part time in Oregon with my youngest daughter and part time in Texas with my son and a little in between in Florida with oldest daughter. My mom passed away in 2020 and I didn’t want to be alone anymore. Im really enjoying the traveling.
I have been busy working and raising children. I retired from Mayo Clinic in January 2007 but went back to work with my daughter and son-in-law in their business (retirement is kind of boring). I have been married and divorced twice and am currently single. My oldest daughter and her family live here at Kingsley Lake, my son and his family live in League City, TX and my youngest daughter and her husband live in Bend, OR. I have been very blessed to have three wonderful and loving children, 5 wonderful grandchildren and two great grandsons.
School Story:

Served in the Library for three years
Participated in Future Business Leaders of America
Jr-Sr years participated in DCT
I remember the fun of the powder puff football games and the Sadie Hawkins dances.

Tell us about what you've been doing, i.e. hobbies, community service, business, travel.

I enjoy reading, movies and a little yard work. I now have a mini IPad with Kindle app and still reading a lot, mostly mystery/thrillers.
I love to travel.
What I enjoy most is spending time with my family.
All three of my children live in different states (Bend, OR, League City, TX and my oldest daughter has homes in Nashville, TN and Starke, FL) so I get to travel a good bit and loving it.

Lessons learned since June 1961.

This is the latest addition to the Garage Mahal. It is a 1964 Corvair Monza Spyder built for the VP of General Motos, Semon "Bunkie" Knudsen in 1964 at Chevrolet Engineering. Special Cadillac paint (Firemist Blue) with Abarth exhaust, custom interior and crackle finished engine compartment. Thid car is one of one.

Hi DeDe, sounds like you are doing well. I am doing very well, I have 3 children, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The past few years I’ve been living part time with each of my three kids, in Oregon with my youngest daughter, in Texas with my son and in Starke, FL with my oldest daughter, it’s been fun for awhile and I really enjoy spending time with them and my grandkids but I’ve been thinking lately maybe I need to settle in one place for awhile and let them come visit me. I’ve been very fortunate to have very good health so far. I hope all is well with you. I really enjoyed the reunion and 80th bday celebration the class had back in March. I haven’t been very much of a socialite of late. Anyway, just thought I would say.
