I can hardly believe it's been 50 years since we graduated from high school. I look forward to a
great weekend of fun and sharing memories. My family has been my focus for the past 40 years but the last 10 years have been some of the most rewarding I could have ever dreamed. God has blessed me in so many ways. Life has taught me,
"It's not about how to survive the storms, but how to dance in the rain" and I do love to dance.

My fondest memories of High School have to be with the music department. Chorus, Girls Trio,
Ensemble, Soloist for the Starry Knights Dance Band and the Spring Plays. Home Economics was always a course I enjoyed. Those courses came in very handly with such a large family.

*After graduation, I attended Young Harris College for two years.
* In 1971 I attended McShan's School of Design and my love of colors, balance and textures began.
*In 1988 I received a Elementary Teaching Certificate from U.of Ga. and taught music and art for two years in Macon, Ga.
*In 1999 I received a Interior/Exterior Design Certificate from the Univ. of Fl.

During the past 50 years, my life book has been filled with many chapters. I was truly blessed to serve in a full time ministry for 30 years that enabled my family to adjust and grow in many situations. Living in Dallas, Tx., Panama City, Fl., Gardendae, Al., Macon, Ga., Ft. Smith, Ak. and Olive Branch, Ms. I acquired a greater love and appreciation for our glorious country and it's wonderful people.
After all the girls went to college, I started my own design business, Designs By Jerri. In 1997 I returned to Jacksonville and resumed my Interior Decorating. What an incredible experience this has been. My projects have allowed me to use skills that were developed over many years and fulfill a life long dream. I have been contracted for a shopping center, homes and three high rise ocean front condos here in Jacksonville Beach. I have loved being a part of Jacksonvile's progress. I have been active in church choir's and bible studies for the past 45 years.
Hobbies: I love traveling, boating, writing music and walking.

It's been said that you can tell more about a person by their reactions than by their actions. I have certainly found this statement true in my life.
My life lessons are many but the foundation upon which I strive to live my life and handle adversity has always remained the same, my faith.
