Jack was my neighbor in South Shores near Bishop Kenny High School. Many Landonites lived in this cute bungalow development. My grandmother was great friends with Jack's Mother Eileen and our family and Jack's attended Assumption Catholic Church.
Jack was a rough and tumble boy with a fort next to their family's garage. A big sign said NO GIRLS ALLOWED, however Jack did let me go in one time. Jack was not a mean boy, he had a softer kinder side that I knew.
His Dad was Hank, a handsome man like Jack. His family eventually moved across Atlantic Boulevard in a neighborhood behind a Winn Dixie store. I am sad that Jack has died, he was funny and enjoyed life to the max. I don't know of any other family members left as Jack was an only child. Hope he builds a fort in Heaven.
RIP my friend. Heaven will be a livelier place now you've arrived. If you run into my dear hubby Tom, be sure the two of you hang out a bit together. As to the peaceful angels--I say look out gals, the boys are back in town.
